Cookbooks and trees

I am getting ready to go to Minnesota in just a few days and I needed something to bring to my aunt and uncle. Several years ago I was working on an updated version of my cookbook, but it had gotten so big that I finally gave up in frustration. I decided that I could do a quick "best of" version of my cookbook to bring as a gift. It only contains 98 recipes, so it is a much more manageable size. The hard to part is dealing with the Master Cook software and getting the pictures pasted in that I want to add. I already have them scanned, but they seem to be only my jump drive and not on the computer for some reason.

While I was working on my cookbook Xena kept barking and I finally realized that my neighbors were in my yard trimming my trees for me! They had gotten completely out of control (the trees, not the neighbors) and it was very kind of them to trim them for me.

I finished Harry Potter yesterday. It is a let down to not have another book to look forward to.

I am bringing the cat over to Byron's house for him to take care of him while I am gone. I hope that he is good and doesn't spray everything at his house. Lee has also agreed to take Xena, so I have all my animals cared for. Flicka is staying with my mother.
