I did call my journal Electablue's World, so I should post things that show my whole world, not just one aspect. Here are a few of my artistic endeavors.
The September/October issue of Cloth, Paper, Scissors had an article about Kelly Rae Roberts and I just fell in love with her artwork. In the current issue she "spills the beans" about how she does her art, so I had to try it out. Here are my first two attemps:
I think right now they look too similar to hers and I want to do some more that look more like something I would do. I was just so impressed that I could do a face so well. The first one looks a little wonky and I finally decided that the main problem was that the nose was crooked and the head is too small. I can't wait to make more of them!
Here are the journal pages I did for the journal trade group I am on on ATcards. This is the last journal pages that were due for the group. I found the theme of "Theater" to be very difficult for me and decided to do "Cats" because I thought I could actually draw some cats. They really don't look like humans dressed up as cats, but I think they are cute enough.
